After bravely defending his friends from thieves during a bank hold up, he is approached by a mysterious party that wants to employ his skill with weapons. Oh, and they threaten him with death if he doesn’t comply.

Been thinking about what to do for a series on my blog. Right now it's sort of a mixture of theological posts and posts by or related to a friend of mine. Neither is bad in itself, but that's not what I meant the blog to be for. It was designed with Christian furries in mind, but still be something non-furries or non-Christians could read and not feel completely marginalized.

Granted, my blog does not have very many readers right now. Need to advertise better.

A few ideas in mind for the blog:
- What is a furry? (For the benefit of non-furry readers)
- What is a Christian fur? (This one interests me most)
- What is a Christian? (This stems from a forum project that hasn't quite gotten off the ground. Excited about this, too)
- Story proposals, maybe even excerpts

Right now it's leaning heavily one way. That doesn't bother me too much, but I don't want to alienate more people than I already know I will.

Is there anything y'all would like to see on it? Maybe reviews of webcomics, furry resources, other sorts of features? What do you like? I look forward to hearing your suggestions. If there are specific topics, then please list them.

Why is it that so many furries go to the fandom for comfort instead of to Christ?

Please note that answers that boil down to "God is not real" or "They hate us because we're Christians" miss the point and are strongly discouraged.

Bryan Davis, probably best known for his young adult fantasy novels, once again proves himself a master storyteller in I Know Why the Angels Dance. It is a tale of sorrow and joy, of death and eternal life, at once applying a healing balm and encouraging catharsis.

I’ve read his books in the past and am a fan of his work, but nothing quite prepared me for this newest story. Readers will be most familiar with Dragons in our Midst, Oracles of Fire, and Echoes from the Edge. And they may purchase this book, expecting a similar story.

It’s not. As with all his books, IKWTAD is filled with spiritual insights, but this book is outside his usual genre. And this is by no means a negative. Instead, it is delightful to see something new from Mr. Davis, a break from the fantasy he so frequently writes. None of his passion is lost; in fact, this may well be the most powerful story he has written.

Two fathers, one in the light and one in the darkness. Two girls, the best of friends. What happens when tragedy strikes, when the joys of youth are cut short, and the laughter of childhood is replaced by the silence of the grave? What balm could possibly bring the fathers comfort? Readers will laugh and weep with the characters in this breathtaking novel that will thaw even the coldest of hearts, as they discover why the angels dance.
